Eda (Terra 3a)

Eda is the only natural satellite of [Terra (Terra III)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RL6ZrMrLNa-terra-terra-iii), [United Empire of Earth (UEE)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth). Because it is nearly identical in size to the moon of Earth (Sol III), its presence in Terra's skies was seen as a sign by early settlers that Terra was meant for [Human](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) habitation. Its close orbit around Terra, however, causes more extreme tides than those found on Earth.
