Nyx System

Nyx is an [unclaimed](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VgExMejDPx-unclaimed-system) planetary [system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VaZwNWg372-system) situated at the border of a dark nebula. It consists of an F-type main sequence star orbited by a terrestrial planet, a smog planet, an ice giant, and two asteroid belts. The system's main settlement, [Levski](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0dXQqBMAOp-levski), is located on a large asteroid in the Glaciem ring. Considered a haven for [Humans](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) who wish to live beyond the reach of [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth) (UEE), it was founded by anti-Messer activists known as the People's Alliance in SEY 2655. The system has recently become a hotbed of Vanduul activity with numerous attacks occurring every year. Starting in 2954, Nyx I has been undergoing terraformation using new experimental technology created by Genesis Terraforming.
