Caliban 4a

Caliban 4a is the first moon from the gas giant [Caliban IV](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0GxavvKo2P-caliban-iv), [Caliban system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0jGyPQ1r5m-caliban-system), located in [Vanduul territory](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDAMLKP74-vanduul-territory). Iron-rich and very dense, studies conducted on the moon have shown that it is likely older than any other celestial body in the system. Astronomers hypothesize that it is the former core of a rogue planet that was captured by the gravity of Caliban IV on its way through the system.
