Perry Line Pact

The Perry Line Pact is a peace treaty between the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth)(UEE) and the [Xi'an Empire](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0n96JkwNo9-xian-empire) (SaoXy'an). After the signing of the [Akari-Kr.ē Treaty](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/bE3rKrl5z6-akari-kree-treaty) brought an unofficial end to the [Xi'an-Human Cold War](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RXlLjDewkZ-xian-human-cold-war), the question of what to do with the eight disputed planetary systems that made up the [Perry Line](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJQMY9mO-perry-line) remained. In 2793, Ambassador Ramon Coen of the UEE presented a proposal to the [Xi'an](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/ReJwN9KJEj-xian) government outlining a plan to divide the systems fairly between the UEE and the Xi'an Empire. Additionally, the treaty required the two governments to work together in removing anti-ship mines from the Perry Line systems, and that they keep their borders open to one another. The signing of this treaty officially ended the Cold War.
