Croshaw I is a terrestrial planet with a thick, high pressure-atmosphere that closely orbits the star of the [Croshaw system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0qanKAEJwp-crowshaw-system). After its discovery in 2271, some prospectors attempted to establish harvesters on the planet's surface in an effort to gain easy access to industrial-strength acids. However, the vivid yellow and orange atmosphere proved too corrosive for even the most advanced technology at the time to effectively harvest.
