Sky Palm

The Sky Palm is a genetically modified plant that was created by [Rayari Inc](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0jGnJnMwke-rayari-inc) to grow on worlds with thick, occlusive atmospheres. With long, thin trunks crowned with clusters of evergreen leaves that resemble large feathers, the sky palm's cell structures were tweaked to absorb a wider spectrum of light than the plants from which it was derived. It can also absorb a great deal of carbon dioxide, and is capable of surviving at high elevations.
