Kabal II

Kabal II is the second planet from the sun of the [Kabal system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3GLNjMnra-kabal-system), [United Empire of Earth (UEE)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth). A terrestrial desert world, its position in the system's [green band](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/ReJaAjgOwy-green-band) would make it an excellent candidate for [terraforming](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3qgj8vjnj-terraforming) if not for the ancient abandoned [Tevarin](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJv3nB3X-tevarin) cities on neighboring planet [Kabal III](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8WrG5yroD-kabal-iii). In order to protect the integrity of this archaeologically valuable site, colonization of all planets in Kabal is currently prohibited. [Shubin Interstellar](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V7gM8ZBodA-shubin-interstellar) has repeatedly petitioned the UEE [Senate](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VaZn8OqaNZ-senate) to open up development of Kabal II under the argument that there are no ruins there to preserve.
