Kuiper Belt (Sol Belt Beta)

The Kuiper belt (Sol belt beta) is the second asteroid belt from the sun of the [Sol system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/Rz2zy6DGB5-sol-system), [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth) (UEE). A circumstellar disc that stretches far beyond the orbit of Neptune (Sol VIII), it consists of a mixture of rocky, icy, and metallic asteroids that are theorized to be leftover material from the time of the system's formation.
