Built in the remains of the carrier [UEES Olympus](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Gxk9rGkej-uees-olympus), which crashed into the planet in 2571 while pursuing a group of [Human](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDvKOpdP4-uee-navy) and [Tevarin](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJv3nB3X-tevarin/) anti-[Messer](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJ6ZwGqo-messer-era) rebels, Olympus became a home to a diverse population of expatriates and outlaws from all known spacefaring civilizations save the [Vanduul](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VpGPp92gdO-vanduul) and [Kr'thak](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RxNxDYkqzz-krthak). An atmospheric system inside the wreck allows for its inhabitants to move through the settlement without the need for breathing equipment.
