K.yuk'o (Kai'pua IV) is the fourth planet from the sun of the [Kai'pua system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3GBmlQoar-kaipua-system), [Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0n96JkwNo9-xian-empire), and is a gas dwarf. Since its rocky core and diffuse atmosphere have nearly identical properties to those of neighboring planet [Kyu'kyu (Kai'pua III)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RX35GE5vyk-kyukyu-kaipua-iii), some astronomers speculate that they may have originally formed in the same region before drifting away from each other. One hypothesis suggests that a rogue planet sliced through the system and pulled K.yuk'o out of its original orbit.
