RyiXy'an (Hyoton III)

RyiXy'an (Hyoton III) is the third planet from the sun of the [Hyoton system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RkGDYnpq4L-hyoton-system), [Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0n96JkwNo9-xian-empire), and is the homeworld of the [Xi'an](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/ReJwN9KJEj-xian) people. Once a lush world teeming with life, its atmosphere was accidentally tainted with poison by [House Kl.ō](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJ62qO81-house-kloo) during an assassination attempt gone awry, killing millions and forcing its remaining inhabitants to flee to the nearby colony world [Ka'ua (Hyoton IV)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0qa4Zow7pk-kaua-hyoton-iv). This event abruptly ended the ongoing [civil war](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvYA5qmqX-the-great-divide) and forced the Xi'an to reassess their culture. Now classified as a smog planet, RyiXy'an has resisted all [terraformation](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/R6dWOrLEM4-xian-terraforming) attempts, and little life remains beneath its toxic clouds.
