Y.ōm'e (T.āl I)

Y.ōm'e (T.āl I) is the first planet from the sun of the [T.āl system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/R4j2mdjZE5-taal-system), [Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0n96JkwNo9-xian-empire). A mesoplanet that closely orbits its star, it is pockmarked with craters from countless mining probes that were dispatched to survey the planet for potentially valuable resources. While little has been found so far, raw materials are in such high demand from T.āl's inhabited planets that missions to find heretofore undiscovered minerals are frequent. The atmosphere of Y.ōm'e is dense enough that heat mirages can be observed rising from its surface during the day.
