Gliese Belt Beta

The Gliese belt beta is the second belt from the sun of the [Gliese system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V7dEXXD4wa-gliese-system), [Banu Protectorate](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/Vgg795z2a3-banu-protectorate). Located between [Nogo (Gliese IV)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/R4jEkkOAkW-nogo-gliese-iv) and [Gliese V](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0NjkMMBx8w-gliese-v), it is packed with ancient outposts and abandoned rigs, left there from an earlier period in which resources were abundant. It is a popular salvaging site and is home to myriad [Soulis](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RAdjm4mron-souli) in that field.
