Tomb (Tiber II)

Tomb (Tiber II) is the second planet from the sun of the [Tiber system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RMNLm97EDj-tiber-system) in [Vanduul territory](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDAMLKP74-vanduul-territory). An arid, desert world, it was once a sparsely-settled mining colony operated by settlers from the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth)(UEE). In SEY 2734, halfway through the [Siege of Tiber](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0OaBY5pGrq-siege-of-tiber), the [Vanduul](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VpGPp92gdO-vanduul) broke through UEE defenses, dropped [Harvester](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0n1MYzOkG7-harvester) on the planet's surface, and established encampments. The Navy responded by conducting countless bombing operations that ultimately failed to evict the Vanduul and left the surface of Tomb a cratered wreck.
