Caliban V

Caliban V is the outermost planet from the sun of the [Caliban system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0jGyPQ1r5m-caliban-system) in [Vanduul territory](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDAMLKP74-vanduul-territory). A protoplanet with a craggy surface, it was considered of little value to the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth)(UEE) and was therefore largely ignored. After the [Vanduul](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VpGPp92gdO-vanduul) took the system [in SEY 2884](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Gz5DNryvE-fall-of-caliban), they began strip-mining operations, leading to speculation that it must hold resources the Vanduul consider desirable.
