For as long as the [Banu](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0NwpYPpNZ4-banu) have been in contact with other civilizations, Trise I has been a stronghold for Religion [Soulis](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RAdjm4mron-souli), and is a major destination for Banu seeking to purchase divine guidance. It is said in the Protectorate that the Soulis on Trise I are able to influence daily life in the Protectorate by the weight of their dictums.
