Squadron 118

The 118th Fighter Squadron (Squadron 118, the "Hare Triggers") is an active [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) (UEE) [Navy](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDvKOpdP4-uee-navy) unit. Currently assigned to the 5th Fleet, 87th Battle Group, the unit was first formed in the midst of the [Second Tevarin War](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/bE3rPrz3Pv-second-tevarin-war) in SEY 2609. During the war, the 118th earned its nickname due to its reputation for consistently landing the first hit on enemy combatants during ship to ship engagements. It was a part of the 6th Fleet until it was transitioned into the 5th in 2917.
