The Mars Tragedy Memorial is a monument located near [Port Renatus](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RWwZWj9vOZ-port-renatus), Mars (Sol IV) that was constructed to honor the memory of the 4,876 people who died in the Mars [terraforming](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3qgj8vjnj-terraforming) disaster of September 13, 2125. It was dedicated in a ceremony by Senator Stephen Nguyen in 2157, who had lost a sibling to the tragedy.
