The Gathering is an irregular meeting of [Essosouli](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/R6v8kxEPBD-essosouli) held on Bacchus II to discuss issues that have the potential to affect all [Banu](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0NwpYPpNZ4-banu). Essosouli generally meet two to three times per year, though rarely they will go multiple years without meeting. At each Gathering, legal and trade issues are debated and codified.
